    Overview

    Spry Methods is actively seeking a mid-level Systems Anlayst to support the US Department of Agriculture. The Systems Analyst will use analysis and design techniques to build automated solutions that solve business problems. Will work as part of a team to define, develop, configure and support automated solutions with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity.

    Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors

    • Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements
    • Research technical solutions to address business needs
    • Define technical and functional requirements
    • Assess business process and system inefficiencies
    • Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes
    • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities
    • Produce required analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan)
    • Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process

    Required skills and experience include

    • Must be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance
    • 7+ years dedicated experience as a Systems Analyst
    • 7+ years of SDLC experience
    • 7+ years of experience implementing automated solutions to solve business requirements
    • Must be highly organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Ability to work positively with the project stakeholders
    • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
    • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as working with a team.
