Spry Methods is seeking a Senior Security Engineer who will provide security engineering services identifying and implementing system security, offering security guidance and recommendations, designing new security architecture, engineering support for certification and accreditation, ensuring that security considerations are built into infrastructure and applications, performing daily tasks of intrusion detection and intrusion prevention, and analyzing network traffic.
The candidate must be familiar with networks and systems, updating/ tuning IDS/IPS devices, vulnerability assessment tools, and upgrading and configuring IDS/IPS sensors. Should have experience performing front line triage, routing and tracking of security related incidents, events, inquiries, and a variety of other security related issues; patching, upgrading and configuring all IDS/IPS sensors to maintain information security posture at the customer site; and developing and implementing security policies and solutions architecture to mitigate risks and enhance system security.
