    Provide Primavera project scheduling support services in support of operations at Space and Naval Systems Center Atlantic (SSC Atlantic) Common Submarine Radio Room Project.

    Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors

    Individual will be responsible for creating, updating and managing project schedules, analyzing risks, working with government POCs to facilitate procurement activities, track tasks, cost estimating, developing and maintaining WBS and POA&Ms, providing financial analysis, and meeting coordination,. Individual will be expected to work independently creating, coordinating and managing schedules primarily using Primavera (P6).

    Required skills and experience include

    • Bachelor of Science or Art degree, and 5 years Project Scheduling, Primavera (P6)


    • Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in DoD Project Scheduling, Primavera (P6)
    • Knowledge, competence in using modern PC computer techniques, systems, and tools to include Primavera (P6) Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Demonstrated experience, creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in scheduling, administrative, and project/program management tracking technical and financial milestones

    • Preparation and coordination of scheduling and administrative reports for reporting units

    • Developing schedules by linking individual schedules for engineering, ILS, production, testing and other related efforts using P6. Providing and preparing production project schedules, tracking and analyzing scheduled versus actual events, and developing production schedule status reports using P6

    • Analysis and interpretation of statistics, financial data, and management planning data for predicting and scheduling resource needs

    • Analyzing schedule variances and risks. Recommending corrective actions. Reviewing and reporting project progress to management

    • Developing and analyzing detailed schedules based on the project specific WBS and scheduling processes from ROM schedules. Incumbent is extremely organized, has an eye for detail, and the ability to take on multiple project schedules simultaneously

    • Able to work with multiple projects to gather and maintain information and provide updates on schedules

    Preferred skills

    • Previous experience with SPAWAR Atlantic
