Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors

  • Understanding of financial improvement and risk management solutions in the DOD and Civilian sectors
  • Lead teams in performing audits and developing corrective action plans and process cycle documentation for processes and internal controls
  • Manage audit readiness reporting and communications by producing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Assist in the design and implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks and solutions to support OMB A-123 requirements, including policies, procedures and standards to facilitate compliance with regulatory mandates
  • Participate in high level stakeholder meetings to develop or refine ERM processes
  • Lead execution of risk assessments, subsequent analyses, and communicating results to stakeholders
  • Develop papers, presentations, and decision briefs for stakeholders, including senior leadership

Required skills and experience include

  • Must have a strong understanding of audit readiness and risk management policies, standards and guidelines, as well as process improvement experience
  • 9+ years of financial improvement and risk management experience
  • Strong written and verbal skills
